PSN Fresh Hack fears

Well its only been up 2 days and already there’s talk that the PSN may well have been compromised again.

As users of the PSN are required to change their password before logging back in for the first time since the original hack, the information needed to change the password are the email address and date of birth. Both pieces of data are within the information thought to have been compromised in the first place.

As a result Sony have taken down the PSN sign in access from a number of their sites and are looking in to the possible security breakdown – the second in as many months.

Maybe Sony will be forced to offer more PSN incentives than a couple of older games in order to get PS3 and PSP users back afterall.

PlayEject will report more when we have it.
